Intel to ship newer generation processors from August

Microprocessor industry giants Intel have said that they are planning to launch their new range of microprocessors for PCs and Servers in August.

The company had been struggling against their smaller rivals AMD in the market since quite sometime. However, the new range of processors showcased by the company seems to have given them an edge.

Market analysts believe that the company with the help of their newer processors can take the initiative back from AMD in this market.

The company has announced some really impressive microprocessors for both personal computers and servers and these would be available in the retail market in August this year. It would be interesting to see how AMD responds to this new threat in the market.
