Hewlett Packard to sell PCs loaded with Baidu Search Engine in China
US based PC manufacturer Hewlett Packard has said in a statement that some of their machines sold in the Chinese market would come loaded with the Baidu search engine, starting in October.
The company plans to pre-install Baidu tools on some of their Pavilion and Presario models.
Baidu.com is the most popular search engine in China and dominates global players like Google, Yahoo! and MSN.
It would be available on these machines through the embedded Internet Explorer browser homepage or address search. Users would also be able to access Baidu.com homepage through a shortcut key.
