Hindustan Motors might launch Mitsubishi compact car in India

The compact car segment in the Indian market is all set to get hot now. As per incoming information, Hindustan Motors is planning to introduce a small car from the Mitsubishi brand.

This car can arrive in the market as early as next year. The information was revealed in a report by the Business Line.

It claimed that the hatchback model from Mitsubishi would be imported in India in a semi-knocked down form. HM would assemble it at their plant near Chennai.

And the company would also enhance the facilities of the unit developing the existing Mitsubishi models to meet any possible growing demand.

HM already sell Mitsubishi Lancer and Pajero models in the Indian market.
