Palm warns of potential problems in the future due to delays in update to Palm OS
Palm has said in a regulatory filing that they might suffer in the near future with their products due to lack of development in the Palm OS software.
The company is in an agreement with the PalmSource, which develops the operating system software for use in its PDAs and smart phones.
However, they are failing to develop the application at the requisite pace, which is leading to them failing to meet the deadlines set out by the agreement.
PalmSource owners Access have not commented specifically on the delays in the development of future versions of Palm OS but they said that the work on the software is continuing at sites in the U.S., Europe, and China.
