noobies moving on from internet explorer do not even need any plugins to get any functionality that IE provides them. and well, the issues u mention regarding firefox are some that makes me use Opera all the time.

Before recommending Firefox to complete noobies at computers, I would wait until the complete version 1.0 comes out. Simple reason is that adding all the plugins etc. while upgrading from 0.8 to 0.93 to 1.0PR has taken me atleast 30-45 minutes of searching for updated plugins etc.

I wouldn’t expect my Mom to be able to go around searching for plugins that might or might not have been updated. :-)
