Google warn search engine users about potentially dangerous sites
Search engine giant Google has just enhanced their service to alert users about potentially dangerous websites before they click on their links on search engine results.
A warning page would be displayed to the user when he clicks on a link to a page known to host spyware or other malicious programs.
Google is part of a group named Stop Badware coalition, which spreads awareness to online users about the harms of spyware and adware spread by malicious websites. This coalition monitor websites known to make available bad software for downloads.
These warning messages would be seen by people using the search engine who clicks on a link to a site identified as harmful by the Stop Badware coalition.
