Apple replaces Power Mac computers with Mac Pro
Apple Computers has launched their latest updated Power Mac Computers for users with high performance computing needs.
The company announced the new Mac Pro series to replace these Power Mac series of computers.
Apple co-founder Steve Jobs spoke while launching these new products: “Today, the Power Mac is going to fade into history.â€
He was speaking to the thousands of developers gathered in San Francisco for a conference while launching the new Apple Mac Pro machines.
These machines starts with a price tag of 2,499 dollars and come with two Intel Xeon chips and double the performance of the Power Mac machines.
Apple marketing vice president Phil Schiller added on these new machines: “This is the Mac that so many of our highest-end customers dreamed of. These are screaming-fast machines and the new king of the hill for the Mac is the Mac Pro.â€
