I have Internet Explorer 6 and windows XP SP2, the problem is with one of my user accounts on Windows XP, the secondary user account has the problem with IE crashing out, but the admin user and also my primary user acount does not have the problem, only with the secondary user account. Any fixes for this problem or, is it just a problem with Windows and managing accounts?

This problem is driving me up the wall, some one please help.

I have another solution, just don't use internet exploiter, use mozilla or something else instead.

More importantly, I've heard that service pack 2 causes nothing but trouble, and that the new security features are somewhat inadequate.

Well, the source of this info needs to be told:
The above code does not cause problems in WinXP if you have Service Pack 2 installed. All that happebed was my IE window seems to keep refreshing, and everything slowed down (IE drawing 94% of CPU cycles). I just end-tasked the process, amd there - it was all back to normal.

I believe the action of new window is in some way prevented by the pop-up blocker integrated into IE6 SP2. Yet another reason to use SP2, huh?
