Segway updates its self-balancing scooter

Segway has launched an updated version of their self-balancing scooter. The company has incorporated new technologies in this updated product, which is now replacing the original scooter sold by the company.

The updated scooter would let the owner start the device with a remote control and steer it simply by leaning in the direction they want to go.

It uses a new technology called “LeanSteer” which replaces a set of handlebars as the Segway’s means of steering.

It is also more sleek and has a futuristic design. It would be sold at a retail price of $4,995.

Segway is going to make available two variants of this updated scooter. These two are named i2 and the x2. The latter version is meant for more rugged terrain. The top speed of these scooters is 12.5 miles per hour.
