Nokia acquisition of Loudeye might speed up Apple iPhone development

Nokia is the world’s leader in the mobile phone manufacturing segment. And Apple is rumored to be working on a mobile phone product to compliment their Apple iPod range of digital music players.

Apple also happens to be the market leader in digital music and video market and Nokia of course now wants to be part of this market.

The entry of Nokia in the digital music segment can now lead to speedier development of the possible Apple iPhone product.

Experts believe that Apple now has a reason to fear with Nokia entering their dominated market of selling digital music on the internet. And if they can enter the mobile phone market by launching a phone with a mobile service in the US market, they can counter this emerging challenge.
