Google enable business to display coupons on Google Maps
Search engine giant Google is now letting business owners to display coupons for free on their Google Maps service.
This new service would allow businesses to fill out a form on Google’s Web site to create a coupon that online users can print out and bring into the business to redeem.
This would just be another extension of the search engine company’s advertising offering. Business entities can also create a profile for their shop and the information, including address and phone number.
For a fee, companies can include their logo and some additional information to their profile that appear in the Google Maps search results.
Google is also collaborating with Valpak Direct Marketing Systems to display coupons from their advertisers on Google Maps. The service is currently only available in USA and Google has not revealed any plans to expand it into other markets.
