Warner Premiere: Warner Bros. launches a new division to cater to DVD division

US based movie studio Warner Bros. has announced the establishment of a new division in the company. This division would cater to the development and marketing of movies directly to DVD consumers.

This new division has been named Warner Premiere and it would produce up to 15 original titles made by well-known filmmakers every year.

One of the first titles to be developed by this division would be “Dukes of Hazzard II,” a sequel to last year’s film “Dukes of Hazzard”. They plan to release it sometime next year.

Warner has appointed Diane Nelson as the head of this division.
