Dell on its way to launch Intel’s Core 2 Duo Laptops

Dell is expected to soon launch its latest range of laptops powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo processors.

The company has announced that these new processors would be powering products in its Inspiron and Latitude range.

In addition, Dell would also be loading these processors on their XPS mobile systems and Dell Precision mobile workstations.

Customers would be able to order these new processors on the Inspiron E1405 and E1505 in addition to Dell Latitude D820, D620 and D520.

David Perlmutter, senior vice president of Intel’s Mobility Group spoke on this new range of processors: “For laptops the new processor has doubled the performance, giving consumers and businesses an immersive mobile experience while keeping power consumption and battery life unchanged.”
