The (pdf) User Manual is not that great. I've connected my newly purchased c240 on 4 PCs, the last being my own when I arrived home from holiday. Only the 2nd PC recognised the device enabling use. The other 3 PCs (all XP & meeting other minimum requirements) show "Sandisk c240" as a portable device, on investigation, in Device Manager>Windows Portable Devices, but never shows as one in Windows Explorer.

Any other device - like memory sticks (2) & digital cameras (2) show in the normal plug & play style.

The Sandisk website gives you nothing to help - other than an international phone call to one of their numbers.

Hopeless!

This is definetly a good product compared with all other products in this range. This has all the features of Sansa E200 series except the video. Anyway no one will expect video in that small size. Those who dont want video can go for Sansa C200. Really a great product from Sandisk. Price is very good. It will be good if they release 4GB C200 product arount $140 as only $20 is the cost for 1GB.
