Zhejiang University advices first year students to stay away from laptops
The prestigious Zhejiang University in the east of China has interestingly advised first-year students not to use laptops, as they tend to waste more time spending online surfing the internet.
Cheng Yi, director of the university’s recruitment office added that they are noticing that more and more students were becoming addicted to computers and the Internet.
Two third of the cases of students dropping out of university has been due to them getting addicted to the internet.
However, these students would still be allowed to use the university’s computer room. This could also turn into good news for the cyber café owners as they would likely to get this additional business.
