Apple updates iMac range of computers
iPod maker Apple Computers has updated its iMac range of products and also launched a new 24-inch display model to this range.
The company has already completed its transition to the Intel processors from the PowerPC platform and is now working on keeping its products up-to-date with the newer processors from Intel.
Apple said in a statement that the new range of iMac will included Intel’s Core 2 Duo chips. These are even faster than the Dual Core chips used in the current generation of Apple iMac.
The new updated range includes iMacs with 17-inch and 20-inch screens. In addition, the company has added a 24-inch display version.
Apple added that these updates are perfect for the upcoming holiday season as the consumers can get to choose the latest of technology in their product offerings.
