I wish google would open up gmail for use with 3rd party domains. Organizations like churches, user groups, or any website could offer e-mail address with their domain names. The mail DNS records could be set up to point to Google’s servers.

In exchange for sharing some ad revenue (ala adsense), Google would have a fleet of people pushing gmail powered email addresses. There would be a great many good e-mail names instead of a bunch of crypticnames382@gmail.com, etc.

Could be a win-win for everybody.

Google has also released Local Google for Canada local.google.ca.
They have teamed up with “Yellow Pages”. It’s a cool feature and I’m sure as time goes on, other markets will have it too.

Google Print is apparently the only new thing that has come our ways since GMail which happened much before the August IPO. I would love to check out what else Google unveiled between GMail and Google Print except for enhancements to already existing services.
