Korean Air bans Dell, Apple Laptops on flight
Korean Air is the largest airline in the country based out of it and they have now banned the usage of Dell and Apple laptops on their flights.
All Dell laptops and certain model of Apple laptops would not be allowed on board while running on battery power. This comes after both the companies announced a mega recall of batteries powering their mobile computers due to potential fire hazards.
Travelers would still be allowed to use the laptops if they remove the battery and use the provided power supplies to run their machines.
They have not revealed on how long this ban would last. The ban covers all Dell laptops, and Apple\’s iBook and PowerBook computers.
