Circuit City to start selling Apple Macs again

A couple of Circuit City stores in the eastern U.S. would soon start selling a selection of Macs. The products to be offered include MacBooks, Mac minis, MacBook Pros and iMacs.

This news was first reported by online magazine AppleInsider that claims that the initiative might lead to a wider launch of Apple products in the stores of Circuit City.

Apple has also reportedly trained select Circuit City employees to effectively market the Mac and its strong points.

Circuit City spokesman Jim Babb talked to the magazine and said in a statement: “This is a pilot program that’s just getting underway and we will evaluate how it is doing over the next several months.”

The retailing chain would also stock select Mac software titles and accessories.
