Google to expand operations in Japan
Search engine giant Google has said that they want to expand its operations in the Japanese market, which has some of the most demanding mobile phone customers.
The company wants to expand its services in the mobile service market to serve the Japanese consumers better.
Omid Kordestani, Google’s senior vice president in charge of global sales said in a statement: “We hope to be much bigger in Japan. We want more innovation in this market.”
They are already working with local mobile service provider KDDI to offer search engine services to mobile customers in Japan. Kordestani added: “The mobile search and ad in Japan has been very successful. It was developed by our engineers in Japan, New York and other locations.”
