Cingular Wireless to launch Nokia E62 in USA
Mobile customers in the US market would soon have another Blackberry alternative in the form of Nokia E62.
Cingular Wireless is planning to launch this blackberry like product in the US market for a price as low as USD 150 to lure in customers.
It would take on the Blackberry products from T-Mobile USA and the Motorola Q from Verizon Wireless.
Nokia E62 would become one of the few mobile handsets in the country to come with the popular Symbian mobile operating system.
Nokia E62 comes with better support for mobile email standards including Good Mobile Messaging from Good Technology Inc., RIM’s Blackberry Connect, Microsoft Corp.’s Mail for Exchange, Cingular Xpress Mail, and Nokia’s Intellisync Mobile Suite.
It would also be challenging the popular Smartphone Treo from Palm, which is also very popular in this market.
