Credit Suisse analyst, Robert Semple has said in a report that they expect the iPod maker Apple Computer to sell a record 1 million notebook machines this year.
As per their estimates, Apple has already shipped as many as 775,000 units till September.
Robert Semple wrote in a research note distributed to clients: “Our channel checks indicate overall MacBook shipments are tracking at approximately 200,000 ahead of our initial estimate of 580,000.â€
They expect the company to sell 250,000 MacBook Pros in the current quarter.
They are also expecting the sales to grow at a faster pace in the coming months considering the recently launched products from the company have been a hit amongst the consumers.
