LG Philips LCD develops an LCD screen for mobile phones
LG Philips LCD has said in a statement that they have developed a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel for next-generation mobile phones.
This would be the first product of its kind for the mobile industry and would help the mobile phone makers to deliver phones with displays, which have a clearer playback of video clips.
The company said in a statement that this development would open the door to “exciting mobile entertainment possibilities.”
The display in this screen also has a faster response time than existing ones. Company vice president Hyun He-Ha added in a statement: “As the first such TFT-LCD product with a response time in the teens, we will be able to fill demand in the mobile display market for displays that can display high-resolution video and consume little power.â€
