Samsung to improve Blu-Ray players ahead of the holiday season
South Korean tech giants Samsung has said that they would be making some improvements to their range of Blu-Ray players ahead of the upcoming holiday season.
Samsung said in a statement on these plans: “As we approach the 2006 holiday season, Samsung will make a running line production improvement to BD-P1000 Blu-ray disc players destined for the U.S. market.â€
The company plans to include a modified setting for the noise filter reduction circuit that will provide a slightly sharper picture.
Samsung had launched their first Blu-ray player, priced at $1,000, in late June. However, the initial units have been giving problems to their owners as per reports in the news media.
