Facebook to open itself to all web users
MySpace.com is currently the world’s most popular social networking portal. This service could now face increased challenge from another popular service called Facebook.
Facebook is currently restricted mostly to high school and college students and they are now considering opening itself to all the web users around the world.
They would soon allow existing members to invite their now-ineligible friends. However, this just might create another furor from its members who might want the service to remain locked for students.
This new decision could also make this service vulnerable to privacy issues.
The service has fewer than 10 million registered users, compared with some 109 million at MySpace.com.
