Live.com, Windows Live Local, and Windows Live Search are out of beta
Microsoft has finally unveiled the final versions of three tools under their recently unveiled Live brand.
These three tools are Live.com, Windows Live Local, and Windows Live Search.
The new MSN Search is now powered using the Live.com search engine and the company believes that the new interface of the search is user friendly.
The company also showcased the Windows Live Toolbar, which makes it easier for the user to search from the browser window. It also comes with protection against phishing threats and pop-ups.
The local search tool is based on Microsoft’s Virtual Earth platform. It combines the maps, directions, satellite imagery, and local search to provide more discreet search results to the web user.
