Google and Apple rumored to be talking on content for Apple iTV

US magazine Newsweek has said in a news report that search engine giant Google is talking with Apple Computer to potentially supply content for their recently announced iTV device.

If the deal goes through, Google might end up becoming one of the biggest content suppliers for Apple iTV product.

Apple recently unveiled this product which would let users watch video content stored on their desktop PC on their home TVs. Google has confirmed in a statement that they are indeed talking with Apple Computer. No other details were provided.

Apple iTV uses wireless technology to play videos on a television set and works as a video streaming player. It is expected to be launched in the retail market sometime next year.
