AOL enhances third party support for AOL Video

Internet Company AOL continues to enhance its online offerings to lure in more users to their services.

The company is now offering new features on their video service. They have launched new tools for the developers and users to make it easier to publish clips to its search engines.

AOL would now let developers to build applications based on its video search engines. These tools are similar to tools recently launched for their instant messaging application.

AOL would be publishing application programming interfaces (APIs) to let developers integrate AOL video search technology into their Web sites.

They have also launched a new system called AOL Director Account, which enables content provider to automatically feed their clips to AOL’s video search engines.
