Disney looking at revenues of USD 50 million from iTunes in first year
Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Robert Iger has said in a statement that they are looking at potential revenues of almost USD 50 million by selling movies on the Apple iTunes store.
Apple recently launched a new series of Apple iPod digital music and video players and unveiled the movie download store on their iTunes.
Disney is one of the major content suppliers on this movie store and they have made available around 75 movies on sale.
They managed to sell around 125,000 movie downloads worth $1 million in revenue through iTunes during the first seven days of launch.
