Instantmoto: Motorola unveils phone vending robotic stores
US based world’s second largest maker of mobile phones Motorola has launched a series of mobile phone vending machines they call robotic stores.
This would help the consumers always on the move to get accessories at convenient locations without visiting stores.
These machines have been designed to carry around 30 devices and Motorola in initial days would load them with 12 phones and 18 accessories.
These Instantmoto would be first positioned at 20 malls and airports nationwide as part of a pilot program. And if they are successful, the company would expand it to other locations.
Motorola said that this vending machine would carry mid- to high-end models, including the Razr and the Q. customers would be able to pick them with or without a service plan.
