Google finally posts copyright judgment on its Belgium websites
Search engine giant Google has finally succumbed to the pressures from the Belgium courts and have posted a recent ruling, which went against it on their local websites.
The ruling is now appearing on Google’s Belgium page (Google.be) and Google News’ Belgium page (news.google.be).
The document is related to the ruling against the company, which instructed it to remove news content from some Belgium news sources.
They are also facing more legal hassles as a broader lawsuit is due to come up on courts in November this year.
The problem is related to how Google News picks up news content from news sources around the world. The company is already facing similar lawsuits from other news providers, including Agence France Presse.
