Honda might launch a hydrogen fuel-cell car in 2008

Japanese automaker Honda is considering plans to launch a new hydrogen powered fuel-cell vehicle in Japan and the United States in 2008.

This would further intensify the battle for the greener cars in the automobile market in these developed nations.

The company is working on their FCX Concept fuel-cell vehicle and has improved it to make the power-generating mechanism 20 percent smaller and 30 percent lighter.

As per incoming reports, the car can run 570 kilometers on a full tank of hydrogen, which is an improvement of around 30%.
