MSN to webcast concerts after deal with Control Room
Microsoft’s MSN division would soon start webcasting live concerts to its users after they signed up a deal with Control Room for an exclusive global partnership.
MSN aims to garner a wider user base for their online services as they focus on expanding revenues from online advertisement.
The company faces challenge from a wide range of web services including YouTube.com, MySpace and of course Yahoo! and Google.
MSN would now be exclusively webcasting 36 different live events. These would also be made available for on-demand viewing for an agreed period afterward.
Impressively, these shows would be made available for free for the end user and they aim to support this with online advertising.
