Intel Core Processor Challenge looking for better looking PCs
Microprocessor industry giants Intel wants to give Apple a run for their money. The company has announced a competition where they are offering USD 1 million in prizes to designers and manufacturers who can come up with designs for a sexy looking personal computer.
This competition has been named Intel Core Processor Challenge and the only condition is that the product should be powered with Intel Viiv technology, using the chip giant’s Core 2 Duo processors.
Intel is asking the interested parties to think outside the box to come up with innovative designs and ideas for the next generation of personal computers.
Eric Kim, vice president of Intel’s Digital Home Group spoke on this new initiative: “Consumers today make home PC purchase decisions based on more than just price and features; they also consider the size, shape and style.â€
