Nokia believes that fuel cell powered cell phones are few years away
No matter what the technology developers want us to believe. Nokia has said that it would still take a couple of years before we can use Fuel Cell batteries in our cell phones.
Nokia is the world’s leading maker of mobile phones. Tapani Ryhanen, head of strategic research at Nokia Research Center spoke on this technology: “It is not a technology question; it is more like a supply-chain issue at the moment.â€
He was speaking at a seminar celebrating the center’s 20th anniversary. He claimed that the technology is available at the moment and they have even tested it. Nevertheless, it would still take some years to make it available to regular mobile users worldwide.
