Fox On Demand: News Corp. to offer shows on MySpace.com and other sites

News Corp. has announced that they would soon make available full episodes of its television shows on MySpace.com and other television sites they own.

These shows would be offered online after they are aired on television. They call this new service: Fox On Demand.

This service would be supported with online advertisement and some of the initial shows on offer would be “Prison Break,” “Justice” and “Bones”.

Fox also recently announced their plans to sell movies from 20th Century Fox film studios on MySpace.com.

Ross Levinsohn, Fox Interactive Media president spoke on this new development: “Leveraging this unique opportunity with our sister company FOX enables us to experiment and innovate and deliver some of the most compelling video experiences online to consumers.”
