Hitachi recalls 16,000 laptop battery packs made by Sony Corp
The latest company to join the group of companies who are recalling laptop batteries made by Sony is Hitachi.
The Japan based maker of consumer electronics is recalling around 16,000 laptop battery packs made by Sony Corp.
These batteries were installed on the company’s Flora 210W and Flora Se210 laptop personal computers for the Japanese market.
Hitachi has not received any complaints from their users regarding these products but they are going ahead with this recall to ensure that none of the batteries shipped are defective.
This further adds on to Sony’s trouble, which is due to suffer millions of dollars of expense due to this recall.
