Jajah aims to have 1 million customers in one-year time

Jajah is a Europe based tech startup, which aims to provide cheap long-distance mobile telephone calls.

The company is now aiming to have around 1 million customers in a year’s time. Jajah co-founder Daniel Mattes said in a statement on their goals: “We are confident that we will have better than 1 million paying customers by the end of year. It is already close to a million.”

Their technology enable consumers to make free or at worse cheap international calls on existing mobile or landline phones, using the Internet bypassing the traditional telephony networks.

They have customers spread across the world and as per incoming information, a paying Jajah user spends about $10 a month and about $100 a year.

$10 is the average their customers pay, but with Jajah there is no plan, you just pay for the calls you make. Calls are free or 2.5 cents per minute to many countries. (Free if you are calling somebody who is also a Jajah user – and registration is free). The average customer $10 per month for the paying calls they make.
