T-Mobile announces T-Mobile Dash phone with keyboard and Wi-Fi support
T-Mobile USA is the forth-largest mobile service provider in the USA and they have now announced their plans to launch a new mobile product named T-Mobile Dash.
This phone has been manufactured by Taiwan’s High Tech Computer Corp. and it runs Windows Mobile platform. It comes with a minicomputer-like keyboard making it convenient for the user to type emails and documents.
T-Mobile would be launching this phone on October 25 for $199 after rebates to people who sign two-year contracts. The company expects this phone to help them generate revenues from value added services.
T-Mobile USA marketing director Mike Selman spoke on this product launch: “We believe there is a real untapped need for consumers wishing to keep in touch with their personal e-mail while they are away from their computer.”
