Apple Computer already has in their product range a special Apple iPod U2 edition, the company is now expected to launch a “Product Red” iPod Friday as they are now joining the Bono’s “Product Red” crusade against AIDS in the developing world.
This was announced by Richard Feachem, executive director of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
Product Red is one of the many projects, which raises proceeds for this fund and was launched by U2 front man Bono in January.
Some other international brands which are part of this movement include Armani, Converse and American Express.
