US made hybrid Toyota Camry now on sale
Japanese automaker Toyota has now started selling US made hybrid versions of their Toyota Camry in the market.
Camry happens to be the most popular sedan of this market and this variant is expected to further boost the sales.
This could help Toyota extend their market share in the USA where they are closing in on GM to become the largest automaker in the world.
Toyota plans to manufacture around 48,000 units at their Georgetown Toyota plant this year. The vehicle claims fuel efficiency of 43 miles per gallon on the highway, 37 in the city. The base price of this car is $25,900 for the 2007 model.
