Yahoo! starts shipping upgrade to their web search advertising system
As per incoming reports, internet giant Yahoo! has now starting delivering the upgrade to the Web search advertising system.
The company claims that this upgrade would help them compete efficiently with rivals Google. Microsoft too has entered this cluttered market.
Yahoo! now aims to begin selling ads on the system early next year. Company’s CEO Terry Semel said in a statement announcing this launch: “Starting today, we’ve begun inviting advertisers in the U.S. to upgrade to the new campaign management application.”
He added that the company now plans to work with advertisers through the rest of this quarter. He said: “I also want to reaffirm that the introduction of the marketplace design in the U.S. remains on schedule for the first quarter of next year.”
