CNET launches CNET TV
CNET Networks Inc. has announced the launch of their latest service named CNET TV.
This new web site would broadcast news and product review segments.
This is their attempt to enter the ever-growing market of online videos.
The company has also announced their collaboration with Verizon Communications Inc. to distribute CNET’s video segments through on-demand television.
CNET already is in a similar partnership with companies like Cox Communications and TiVo Inc. for its videos.
The company has been in news recently for all the wrong reasons. Their chairman and chief executive recently resigned over his role in the company’s backdated stock options.
