LG Electronics launches an update of Chocolate mobile phone

South Korean tech giant LG Electronics has announced the launch of their updated Chocolate model. They are hoping to replicate the success of the original Chocolate mobile phone with this model.

The long-term goal is to enhance their market share in the world’s market where they compete with giants like Nokia, Motorola and Samsung.

SR Kwon, an analyst at Hyundai Securities spoke on this updated model: “The new version of the Chocolate phone follows the current consumer preference for (slim) metal casings. It’s a global market trend.”

LG also said in another report that they sold 16.5 million mobile phones in the third quarter. Their Chocolate mobile phone sells nearly twice as many as LG’s other handsets.
