Apple iPod Shuffle version 2 coming out on November 3
Apple Computer recently announced their first overhaul to the iPod Shuffle range of digital music player.
The new player was due for launch during the last week of October but Apple missed that deadline. The confirmed news now is that the new iPod Shuffle would be available in retail stores from November 3.
iPod Shuffle would go on sale through Apple retail stores, the online Apple Store and Apple Authorized Resellers. It is half the size and the weight of the original and features 1 GB storage. It lacks a screen but comes with a belt clip for portability.
Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of worldwide iPod product marketing spoke on this product launch: “The new iPod shuffle completes our all-new lineup of iPods for this holiday season and beyond, and we hope it’s going to be a huge hit.”
Apple had said that this new player would feature up to 12-hours of battery life on a fully charged new battery.
