Cingular Wireless rumored to be preparing for cell phone music service
Market sources claim that US based mobile service provider Cingular Wireless is working on a mobile phone music service.
The company is expected to team up with players like Napster and Yahoo! to launch a service for their customers.
This service would work for players who own mobile phones capable of playing music. This would make Cingular Wireless a rival of Apple Computer who operates Apple iTunes and are rumored to be working on a possible Apple iPhone.
The news sources claim that during the early stages consumers would have to download the songs on their PCs to transfer them on their mobile phones.
