Yahoo! launches Yahoo! Food
Internet giants Yahoo! has launched its own Food section as it aims to increase its readership and stay ahead of the competition including MSN, AOL and Google.
The company is now launching a food Web site which would feature recipes and videos of celebrity chefs.
The service would also allow users to share and rate recipes online. They are being supported by advertisers including Kraft Foods Inc. and Sheraton Hotels & Resorts for this new section.
Yahoo! is primarily targeting this new section of the website towards their female audience. The company is also considering developing sites on home decorating and fashion.
