Honda due to launch their new CR-V in India
Japanese automaker Honda has said that they would soon update their CR-V model in the Indian markets.
Honda has already launched this new model in the US and Japan. Indian customers can now expect a more powerful vehicle. The new CR-V is likely to be powered with a 2.4-liter petrol engine and would be priced at around Rs. 21 lakh.
Jnaneswar Sen, Honda Siel Motors India (HSMI) senior general manager – sales and marketing said in a statement on this upcoming model: “The price band is comparable to the Nissan X-trail, although the car will have a lot more to offer due to a much more powerful engine, superior external and internal styling changes.”.
Honda recently displayed this updated model at the recent Paris Motor Show 2006. They had originally launched the CR-V in India in 2003.
