Google reports that its Video Service has been sued for copyright infringement
Search engine giant Google which recently announced their plans to acquire YouTube.com has reported in a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that its online video service has been sued for copyright infringement.
This just might be the starting of more revelations on legal hassles Google might face with both their Google Video and YouTube.com services.
The company did not provide any more information on this lawsuit. Market analysts have said that most copyright owners are delaying legal claims against YouTube until Google completes the acquisition.
Google also added in their filing that they could face more copyright suits once the YouTube deal closes.
