Comments on: Suzuki APV could be the ultimate people carrier

I just bought the 2007 APV “G” and I am disappointed on 2 aspects:
1. Rear seatbelts are only available on the more expensive “X” version (doesn’t rear passenger’s safety matter to Suzuki on the lesser expensive models?)
2. Engine already runs at 3000 RPM in 5th gear at 80 km/h, resulting in excessive gas consumption.

But my major beef is the seatbelt issue. Shame on you, Suzuki!

APV is a great family van but why does the manufacturer miss of putting Aircon vent at the back of it on there 1.6 GL 5 M/T is great but not complete

I’ve have been eyeing to buy APV. I love it. Exterior not too important as long as it’s comfortable inside. I am more concern on the engine. It might not be able to deliver as expected with full load especially on highland travelling.

i like the concept that the APV can seat 8 people comfortably, but a major detail to look at this vehicle is its exterior. from a distance, it looks similar to an overgrown box, with a bulge,(could be inspired by its mascot). Toyota’s hi-ace doesn’t look any better either.

The apv line here is offered in both extremes. The top of the line and the bottom. Hard to make a choice. I wish they had a middle of the line choice, like an automatic that is a bit more basic. That’s usually the problem here in the Philippines, if you go for automatic, its got to be the top of the mix. You can’t build from the base and price your choice depending on the options you choose.
